The PostGraduate Assembly in Anesthesiology (PGA) is a five-day event, sponsored by the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, Inc., and takes place each December in New York City.
The PGA attracts upwards of 4,000 attendees from around the world, and is a global platform for networking and presenting anesthesia's latest science and technologies.
The PGA's scientific program offers more than 200 sessions, special lectures and hands-on workshops. The first ever SAFE-T (Safe Anaesthesia For Everybody - Today) Summit aims to advance the global patient safety agenda. Bringing together leading providers from the perioperative team we will highlight the importance of working together to address the healthcare challenges identified by the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery. In partnership with related industry, governments and NGOs, this one day Summit will contribute to safer anaesthesia, surgical and obstetric care around the world.
World-renowned experts will open sessions with theme-setting presentations. Facilitated group discussions will develop recommendations and identify practical ways forward.

SPANZA welcomes you to its Annual Scientific Meeting which is being held for the first time in the Top End - Bite Sized Anaesthesia!
