Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Journal (AIC)

Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is the official journal of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA),  the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists. The Journal is published by the ASA. Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is an educational journal for those associated with anaesthesia, intensive care medicine and pain medicine, and a vehicle for individuals to inform their colleagues of their research and experience. The Journal presents original articles of scientific clinical interest. There are six issues a year published in January, March, May, July, September and November.  The journal subscription is included in the full Ordinary and Trainee membership.  For more information click here.  To see past online copies click here.

As well as online access to the Journal, as a current full Ordinary or Trainee financial member of the NZ Society of Anaesthetists you have complimentary access to the AIC App. To access the App you’ll need to download it from the Apple or Google Play stores depending on your device.  Simply search ‘Anaesthesia & Intensive Care.’ Once you have downloaded the App you’ll need to login to view all the articles. The format to login using your unique login details is shown below:

ID Number          <insert ID>

Password            <insert password>

Your password is a combination of your surname and ID number and is not able to be changed at this stage. Once you have logged into the App you do not need to re-enter these details unless you log out of the App. Your login information for AIC is not the same login as this website and it will be sent to you separately by ASA when you join NZSA as a member.

You can unsubscribe to receiving a hard copy of the AIC without impacting your subscription rate.

If you have forgotten your login details (which are the same for both the online and App access) please contact membership@anaesthesia.nz

If you have any comments or questions about the App please contact aic@asa.org.au
